Types GFR..F2F3/F3F4 are roller type freewheels, self-contained, sealed and bearing supported, using two 160 series bearings. They use the GFR base module.
- Units must be oil lubricated before use if delivered disassembled
- Primarily used as backstops
- F3 cover acts as torque arm with integrated stop bolt (requires 13% radial clearance)
- F2 and F4 covers close the unit with oil filling/drain/level screws
- F4 cover requires shaft end plate sealing to prevent oil leakage
- Covers allow on-site rotation direction selection
- Available pre-assembled and lubricated for F2F3 combination
