Chrome Steel Sprag Overrunning Clutch with 44 N.m Torque and 5300 RPM Idling Speed for Machinery Repair
FE series Freewheel-clutches transmit or support torque moment by friction contact in one direction and permit idling in the opposite direction.
- Indexing elements: Change from oscillating to intermittent rotary motion.
- Backstops: Prevent self-reversing due to load condition when the machine is not activated.
- Overrunning clutches: Maintain driven unit activation during slowdown, or switch to higher speed in two-speed operations.
Proper lubrication is essential for maximum freewheel clutch lifespan and reduced drag. Refer to our Lubrication Selection Table for proper selection.
Note: Clutches (except sealed series FND, FPD, FK 62...-RS, FK 62...-2RS, FKN...-RS, and FKN...-2RS) are shipped rust-protected but not lubricated.
