FE 443 Z2 Backstop Overrunning Clutch Sprag Type One Way Clutch Bearings
FE series Freewheel-clutches transmit or support torque moment by friction contact in one direction and permit idling in the opposite direction.
Applications
- Indexing elements: Change from oscillating to intermittent rotary motion
- Backstops: Prevent self reversing due to load condition when the machine is not activated
- Overrunning clutches: Maintain driven unit activated during slowdown or in two-speed operation
Lubrication
Proper lubrication is essential for maximum freewheel clutch life and reduced drag. Refer to our Lubrication Selection Table for proper selection.
Note: Clutches (except sealed models FND, FPD, FK 62...-RS, FK 62...-2RS, FKN...-RS, and FKN...-2RS) are shipped rust protected but not lubricated.
