Working Principle :

Drawn cup roller clutch and bearing assembly with a nylon clutch cage transmits torque between the shaft and housing in one direction and allows free overrun in the opposite direction. RCB Series has a roller bearing on each end of the clutch to support radial loads, and a drawn cup outer steel shell that provides a small cross-section for use in restricted spaces. The outer shell serves as a raceway for the clutch and bearing rollers, and the clutch has a glass fiber reinforced polyamide nylon cage with a stainless steel pressure spring for each roller. The rollers are made of through-hardened, high-carbon chromium steel for heat tolerance and durability, and the assembly comes packed with lithium soap grease. This drawn cup roller clutch and bearing assembly can be used at temperatures up to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C), and is used in various applications, such as athletic equipment, paper towel dispensers, office machines, and appliances, among others.
