1. Product Description:

 

This series of roll-to-roll coating equipment is a roll-to-roll metallization solution for aluminum barrier packaging applications. In industries with low profit margins, the highest production efficiency, coupled with excellent product performance, is the answer to future challenges.

 

The optical, protective and barrier properties are enhanced by depositing traditional aluminum coatings on a wide range of flexible substrates. This series of equipment covers widths of 1100-3850mm, as well as all common plastic film and paper substrates, and achieves maximum output at different speeds for large-width substrates greater than 2500mm, which is more than 25% faster than traditional systems.

 

It is used for plasma reaction deposition of alumina on flexible materials such as BOPP and PET. The plasma reaction process improves the barrier performance and long-term stability of packaging materials refined with alumina layer to obtain better permeability. Compared with traditional reactive deposition, the plasma reaction process provides a significant improvement, and combined with the lowest permeability value, improves the barrier performance and long-term stability of the packaging material.

 

In addition to the measurable layer uniformity across the width of the substrate, the innovative evaporator arrangement and gas distribution provide significant results in the visible range, which is very important for special optical applications.

Roll-to-roll coating is the process of applying a coating to a flat substrate by passing it between two (or more) rollers. In this technique, the coating material is applied by one or more auxiliary rolls onto an application roll after the gap between the upper roller and the second roller has been appropriately adjusted. The coating is wiped off the application roller by the substrate as it passes around the support roller at the bottom. After curing, the coated substrate is then shaped to the final form; this has no effect on the properties of the coating.

Roll-to-roll coating is made up of two different techniques: direct roll coating and reverse roll coating. In the direct roll coating technique, the applicator roll rotates in the same direction as the substrate. In the reverse roll coating technique, the applicator roll rotates in the opposite direction to the substrate.
