Silicon steel, commonly known as electrical steel sheet or silicon steel sheet, is an indispensable ferrosilicon soft magnetic alloy with extremely low carbon content in the power, electronics and military industries.
Non-oriented silicon steel
Ferrosilicon alloy with very low carbon content. The grains in the deformed and annealed steel sheet are randomly oriented and distributed. The silicon content of the alloy is 1.5% to 3.0%, or the sum of the silicon and aluminum content is 1.8% to 4.0%. Products are usually cold-rolled sheets or strips with nominal thicknesses of 0.35 and 0.5 mm, which are mainly used in the manufacture of electric motors and generators.
