IFHS Interstitial Free High Strength Mild Steel Low Carbon Aisi
Automotive IFHS (Interstitial Free High Strength Steel)
1. Hair hood 220IFHS
Illustrate: The design of this type of steel is based on its specific interstitial-free steel (IF) metallurgical properties, providing an excellent combination of formability and mechanical strength. Such steels are strengthened by adding manganese, silicon, and phosphorus to ferrite in solid solution.
This type of steel is particularly suitable for products requiring high mechanical strength, such as wheel arches, bottom guards and reinforcements. Specific coatings are applied to IF180 to IF260 grades to produce visible parts such as door panels.
Application: This type of steel has high mechanical strength, guarantees good fatigue and impact resistance, and has good dent resistance in applications such as structural parts (such as longitudinal beams, beams, B-pillars, etc.) and outer panels. In contrast to traditional stretch properties, the weight loss potential of such products increases with depth of draw.
| STANDARD | EN 10268:2006 | EN 10346:2015 |
