Mechanical properties: These steels have very little control over their chemical composition and mechanical properties, and have high deep drawability, ensuring consistent performance during secondary machining.
The mechanical properties of mild steel are only guaranteed in the transverse direction.

In addition, the r-value (plastic strain change) and the guaranteed value of elongation are slightly reduced by the galvanized alloy coating, where the r-factor is reduced by 0.3 and the elongation is reduced by about 2%.
