The FOREGENE’S nucleic acid extraction and purification series products can be extracted and purified to high-quality nucleic acids from a variety of sources and complex component samples. The DNA extraction series products are based on DNA-Only silica membrane purification columns and unique formula reagents that can purify high-quality DNA from a variety of samples.
The General Plasmid Mini Kit uses DNA-Only purification column technology and an efficient SDS lysis formula to obtain high-quality plasmid DNA from bacteria within 20 minutes. The DNA-Only silica gel membrane used in the spin column is a unique new material of FOREGENE, which can adsorb DNA efficiently and specifically,and remove RNA, impurity proteins, ions and other organic compounds in cells to the greatest extent. The maximum binding capacity of plasmid DNA of DNA-Only purification column is 60μg DNA. The amount of plasmid DNA actually extracted is related to the volume of the bacterial solution, the number of plasmid copies (high copy, low copy), strains, culture conditions and other factors.

- Buffer S1:Provides bacterial lysis environment.
