Bird cage heater

  The bird cage heating element produced by our company is mainly composed of tungsten bird cage heating element. The bird cage heating element is composed of tungsten rod after bending into cage shape, which is connected with copper electrode by brazing or fixing with top wire. The cage heating element produced by Luoyang Aikemai co., Ltd. is mainly used in the bubbling-process sapphire crystal growth furnace.

Specification

  The birdcage heaters produced by our company are mainly tungsten birdcage heaters. The birdcage heaters are tungsten rods bent and assembled into a cage and connected with copper electrodes by brazing or top wire fixing. At present, the birdcage heaters produced by Luoyang Achemetal are mainly used in the sapphire crystal growth furnace of the bubbling method.

Product description

  Since tungsten and molybdenum materials have very low saturation vapor pressure, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and good high temperature strength, they are the best choice for high temperature furnace heating elements such as birdcage heaters.

Tungsten birdcage heaters are recommended to be used at temperatures no higher than 2800 degrees Celsius.

Tungsten birdcage heaters doped with lanthanum, aluminum and potassium have a significantly higher recrystallization temperature, resulting in improved creep resistance and increased oxidation resistance.

 

Product Applications

  With the wide application of LED industry, the demand of sapphire, the substrate material for LED, has been growing in a spurt in recent years. Since the temperature of sapphire grows to more than 2200℃, the process of growing sapphire requires high temperature stability and thermal field environment, so tungsten-molybdenum materials with high melting point and stable performance at high temperature with less pollution are widely used in sapphire grower furnaces.

The tungsten-molybdenum birdcage heater can meet the environmental requirements of temperature stability and thermal field of sapphire long crystal furnace.

A Determine with an extensometer accurate to 0.5% elongation or class.

B Nonmagnetic composition to Classes 1,2and 3 shall be 94 ksi(648 MPa) miinimum ultimate tensile strength . Minimum alongation shall be 2% on Classes 1 and 2 and 1% on Class 3.
