Molybdenum-zirconium-titanium alloy:
Usually abbreviated as TZM, it is a molybdenum-based alloy with titanium and zirconium, etc. as alloying elements. TZM (Mo-0.5% Ti-0.008% Zr) and TZC (Mo-1.25% Ti-0.15% Zr-0.15% carbon) are currently used in many applications. TZM is twice as strong as pure molybdenum at temperatures above 1300°C. The recrystallization temperature of TZM is about 250'C higher than that of molybdenum, and it has better welding properties.
Features:
TZM alloy has high melting point, high strength, good elastic modulus, low coefficient of linear expansion, low vapor pressure, good electrical and thermal conductivity, strong corrosion resistance, and good high temperature mechanical properties, so it is widely used in many fields.
Application:
1.High temperature structural materials such as high temperature furnace walls and heat insulation screens for hot isostatic presses
2.Tooling materials for high temperature processing. Such as for the manufacture of aluminum and copper alloys, cast iron and iron alloy die-casting mold and core; for stainless steel and other hot extrusion tools and seamless steel pipe hot processing with the tip
3.Glass melting furnace stirrer, flow port, etc.
4.Radiation shield, support frame, heat exchanger, rail on nuclear energy equipment.
