TZM alloy is used to produce seamless steel pipe threading bar tips because of its excellent high temperature strength and creep resistance. It is often referred to as a molybdenum top head .
It is made of molybdenum powder with rare earth materials and processed through the process of mixing, forming, shape processing and high temperature sintering. It is mainly used for piercing seamless steel pipes such as stainless steel, brazed steel, bearing steel and high temperature alloy steel.
