Product description
Tungsten alloy metals, mainly including W-Ni-Fe and W-Ni-Cu, are widely used in military equipment, mechanical engineering, aircraft components, medical shields and sports equipment.
W-Ni-Fe alloys are used in collimators and shielding components to provide protection against X- and gamma-ray radiation. Products manufactured from tungsten, nickel and copper are distinguished by their non-magnetic behavior. This material is used where magnetic interference is avoided.
Product Features
Large specific gravity: the specific gravity is generally 16.5-18.75g/cm³;
High strength: the tensile strength is 700-1,000Mpa;
Strong ray absorption capacity: 30-40% higher than that of lead;
Large heat conducting coefficient: the heat conducting coefficient of tungsten alloy is 5 times that of mold steel;
Small thermal expansion coefficient: 1/2-1/3 of that of iron or steel;
Good conductivity: it can be widely applied to illumination and electric welding industries because of its good conductivity;
Good weldability and machinability.
