Rare Earth Smelting Sliver Pure Molybdenum Rod Corrosion Resistance
High quality molybdenum electrode/rod for rare earth smelting
Product description
The texture of molybdenum electrode is softer than tungsten material, and its toughness is better than tungsten material. It has incomparable elastic modulus, high melting point, good machining, corrosion resistance, low expansion, ultra-high strength and stiffness at high temperatures, excellent thermal conductivity, ductility, easy manufacturing, low emissivity, resistivity, and low vapor pressure. It is generally made by powder metallurgy.
Features
From the physical and chemical properties, the appearance of molybdenum electrode is usually silver gray solid with metallic luster, with a high specific gravity (10.23g/cm ³, About half of tungsten), higher melting point (2622 ℃), higher hardness, higher thermal conductivity, lower thermal expansion coefficient, good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and chemical stability.
According to the different shapes, molybdenum electrodes can be divided into electrode rods, electrode plates, electrode rods and threaded electrodes. Their uses are slightly different. For example, electrode rods are mainly used in electric melting glass kilns, and electrode plates are mainly used in various glass fiber kilns and heating equipment for liquid flow orifice panels.
