Product Description

1. Low density and high specific strength The density of titanium metal is 4.51g/cm3, which is higher than aluminum and lower than iron, copper, and nickel, but its specific strength is at the top of the metal;

2. Titanium is a very active metal, its equilibrium potential is very low, and it has a strong tendency to passivation;

3. Good heat resistance. The new titanium alloy can be used for a long time at a temperature of 600*C or higher;

4. Good low-temperature resistance. Its strength increases with the decrease of temperature, but its plasticity changes little. It maintains good ductility and toughness at low temperatures of -196-253*c. Avoiding the cold brittleness of metals, it is an ideal material for low-temperature containers, storage boxes, and other equipment;

Specifications:

A metallic element, titanium is recognized for its high strength-to-weight ratio. It is a strong metal with low density that is quite ductile (especially in an oxygen-free environment),lustrous, and metallic-white in color. The relatively high melting point (more than 1,650 °C or 3,000 °F) makes it useful as a refractory metal. It is paramagnetic and has fairly low electrical and thermal conductivity.
