Product description
The forged products of Achemetal Tungsten & Molybdenum Co., Ltd. include tungsten, tungsten-lanthanum, tungsten-aluminum, tungsten-rhenium and other metals of which all the raw materials are high-purity powder, featuring less impurity content in bar blanks, high sintering density and large deformation of the forged finished products. We lay emphasis on the control over forging technologies in the machining process, which is supplemented by an HIP process as necessary, to ensure the characteristics of high density, fine crystal grains and easy deep processing of products. Tungsten-molybdenum alloy forged products with high-density fine crystal grains have become a big feature of Achemetal products.
According to different machining processes, tungsten bars have the conventional process density of 18.5 and the process density of more than 19.0 after HIP.
Tungsten rod can be manufactured in random length pieces or cut to meet customers' desired lengths. There are three different surface processes which are provided upon the desired end use:
Black tungsten rod- Surface is "as swaged" or "as drawn"; retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides;
Cleaned tungsten alloy rod- Surface is chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides;
Ground tungsten rod Surface is centerless ground to remove all coating and to achieve precise diameter control.

Features:
The outstanding feature of tungsten rod is that they can be batch operated. Among the rod-like metal materials, tungsten rod has the highest melting point. In heat, electric conduction and electron emission, it performs very well. The tungsten rod is also characterized by high density, low dilatation coefficient and lowest metallic vapor pressure.he density of our tungsten rod is higher than 18.8g/cm3; purity, 99.5%. This has met the GB 4187-84 and AKM QB/WB-2006 Standard.

Package and Inspection
We offer material composition sheet and examination report which include density, flaw detection, dimensions and so on. Our products are packed in plywood case with expanded plastic. What's more, the case is moisture proof and grooved for products being placed stably.
