Radiation Shielding Products
Tungsten and tungsten alloys have strong ray absorption ability because of their high density, occupy smaller volume than lead and boron carbide, are not easy to wear and do not pollute the environment. Therefore, tungsten and its alloys are increasingly used for x-ray and gamma-ray shielding and guidance, such as medical radiography and treatment equipment, cyclotron, nuclear reactor, pipeline remote inspection equipment, etc.
