Performance of 3003 Aluminum Sheet:

3003 aluminum alloy is an aluminium-manganese alloy which approximately 20% stronger than alloy 1100. This alloy is readily formed by either conventional cold working or hot working. The 3003-H14 is a softer, more formable aluminum sheet and 3003 tread plate offers increased rigidity in the material as well as hiding fingerprints and dents. Commonly used tempers include H14, H16 and H18 while others are also available by customers' demands.

3003 aluminum alloy with Mn as the main alloying element, which has good plasticity, good welding performance, corrosion resistance is slightly stronger than alloy 1050. It belongs to a medium-strength aluminum alloy. There are two ways of annealing temperature. One is low-temperature annealing which requires only a temperature of 260-360℃, another is high-temperature annealing which requires at least 370-490℃.

3003 aluminum sheet is commonly used in air conditioners, refrigerators, automobile bottoms, ocean and other humid environments. It is also commonly used in building materials, ship materials, coloured aluminium sheets, kitchen utensils, radiators, battery shells, and general objects such as processing pipes.

In addition, 3003 aluminium sheet can also be used for parts that need to be processed with good formability and weldability, or that require both of these properties and higher strength than 1000 series alloys. For example, low-load parts used in liquid or gaseous media, such as fuel tanks, gasoline or lubricating oil pipes, or other small load parts made from the deep drawing.
