TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
Industry Standard calls for 2:1 Anode to Cathode ratio when calculating anodes in a bath
Mini-Expanded / Micro Mesh: 3/8″ x 1/2″ (approx 65 % mesh open area)
is the most commonly used mesh type, offering a compromise between enough open area and basket stability
Large Expanded: 1/2″ x 1.25″ (approx 75 % mesh open area)
is highly used for large anode ball applications
Perforated : 1/2″ diameter on 11/16″ staggered centers (approx 50 % mesh open area)
is the most durable and used with a variety of anode material
BASKET AMPERAGE and HOOKS:

Rectangular Baskets are standard with 50 AMP/bskt Double Contact Hooks (DKE). Higher amperage is available (i.e. 100 amps, 150 amps & 200 + amps)
BASKET SIZING:
The following rules of thumb are recommended for sizing baskets:

Baskets should be 2″ to 4″ shorter than the longest piece of work

Baksets should be 1″ aobve the solution level

Hook length is measured from top of anode bar to 1″ above the solution level
