Embedded finned tubes with a base tube material of ASME SB163 N04400 (Monel 400) are designed for seawater cooling heat exchangers where corrosion resistance, long-term service performance, and reliable heat transfer are critical requirements.
The embedded fin structure is manufactured by machining grooves on the outer surface of the base tube and inserting metallic fins into the grooves, creating a mechanical bond between the tube and fins.
