ASTM B111 C70600 Low-Finned Tubes for Seawater Condensers are engineered to improve heat transfer efficiency in shell-and-tube heat exchangers operating with seawater and other chloride-containing cooling media. Manufactured from 90/10 Copper-Nickel (Cu-Ni 90/10) alloy in accordance with ASTM B111, these tubes combine the corrosion resistance of copper-nickel with the enhanced external surface area provided by integral low fins.
The low-fin profile increases the effective heat transfer area without significantly increasing pressure drop, making these tubes an excellent solution for compact condenser and cooler designs.
