WQ-W5133 is a high-density polyethylene wax emulsion designed with high melting point and excellent performance. It could enhance the abrasion resistance of water-based coatings with no significant loss of gloss for demanding industrial applications. The polyethylene wax is equivalent to BASF Joncryl Wax 26 and excels in serving as an additive for industrial flooring coatings, particularly for coatings to be applied in high-wear, high-temperature, and high-performance environments. WQ-W5133 is also recommended for applications such as:

• Printing inks for flexographic or gravure applications

• Overprint varnishes for commercial, publication, or packaging applications

• Functional packaging coatings for barrier applications

• Interior/exterior wood coatings for flooring, furniture

It is recommended to add the wax emulsion at the end of the mixing process, while stirring.  The recommended amount of wax emulsion to be added is between 3 and 5%(solid content).  To ensure uniformity, please shake well before use.  When mixing with other materials, please test the suitability firstly, especially considering the pH value.
