WL-0628 is a water-based alkyd resin, which is suitable for making water-based self-drying metal anti-rust primers, primer and topcoat in one paint, and can also be used to make water-based amino baking paints. Properties

· Quick drying, excellent gloss and fullness

· Excellent water resistance, salt spray resistance and certain weather resistance;

· Excellent shear stability, can directly participate in grinding color paste;

· It is stable under weak alkaline conditions, and will settle and separate water under acidic conditions. When adding acidic pigments, pay attention to adjusting the PH value of the system to 8-9;

· The viscosity of the water dispersion increases with the increase of PH value, it is recommended to dilute with deionized water and adjust the PH value of the system to 8-9;

Instructions

· First add 4-5% (by weight) dimethylethanolamine (DMEA) to WL-0628 to neutralize, and then add water to dilute to make self-drying or low-temperature baking anti-rust paint.

· Adding our metal drier WL-305 can accelerate the oxidative drying. It is recommended that the drier be added to the alkyd resin and mixed evenly before dilution with water. The dosage is 3-5% of the resin weight. If the drier from other manufacturers is used, the dosage should be determined by experiment according to the recommended dosage of the drier manufacturer.
