Product Introduction

  WQ-W5113 is an economical cationic paraffin wax emulsion. It is commonly used as an additive in exterior wall coatings. It quickly forms a hydrophobic layer, preventing moisture penetration and efflorescence, thus enhancing its water resistance. It also improves stain and dirt resistance, reducing surface contamination and keeping walls clean for longer. It can be added to latex paints, primers, and textured coatings to reduce water absorption and improve weather resistance.

Physical Property

The viscosity of the product is affected by the pH value, as the pH value increases, the viscosity and thixotropy will increase.

Properties and Applications

1. Used in exterior wall paint emulsions to improve water resistance and stain resistance;

2. Ideal waterproofing agent for water-based inks and varnishes;

3. Softener and smoothing agent for textiles;

4. This product can also be used for waterproofing textiles and repelling special paper products.

Dosage and Usage

1. It is generally recommended to add the wax emulsion at the end of the mixing process, stirring while adding. The recommended dosage is between 0.5% and 5%.

2. This product may slightly separate at the bottom after prolonged standing. This is normal. To ensure product uniformity, please shake well before use.

3. Before mixing with other substances, please test the compatibility of the product, especially considering the pH value.

Packaging and Storage

1. Blue plastic drum, net weight: 50 kg/drum, 120 kg/drum

2. During transportation, maintain an ambient temperature between 0-40°C. If the temperature exceeds 30°C, avoid direct sunlight.

3. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place, protecting from freezing. Store at a temperature between 0-40°C.

4. Shelf life in original packaging at room temperature is 12 months. Once opened, it is recommended to be used within a short period of time.
