Thermoplastic Acrylic Resin For Heat-seal Varnish/Lacquer Application
SA-523 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin designed for heat-seal lacquer systems, offering reliable sealing performance and strong adhesion to metal substrates. Based on a MMA and n-BMA copolymer, it provides good color development, excellent toughness, and stable film formation during heat sealing.
In heat-seal applications, the resin softens and flows evenly under heat, forming a continuous sealing layer on aluminum and aluminum-plated films. After cooling, it delivers strong adhesion, good peel strength, and durability. Its high softening point ensures good heat resistance and minimizes blocking during storage and processing.

1. When used with binary or ternary chloroacetic acid, it can be used in various aluminum-plated films and pure aluminum.
2. When used with ternary chloroacetic acid, it can be used for general matte oil, paper towel ink, and pure surface printing ink.
