WQ-P1202 is a micronized Fischer–Tropsch (FT) wax similar to Sasolwax Spray 105 . The product is supplied as a free-flowing white powder with Matte finish, wear resistance, and scratch resistance.
Due to its high hardness and crystallinity, WQ-P1202 provides effective improvement in scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, and surface slip when incorporated into coating, ink, and adhesive formulations. It also contributes to reduced blocking behavior and enhanced surface durability .
WQ-P1202 exhibits low polarity and chemical inertness, offering good compatibility with a wide range of solvent-based systems, including acrylic, alkyd, polyurethane, and nitrocellulose resins. WQ-P1202 is commonly used in industrial coatings, printing inks, wood coatings, and hot-melt adhesive applications where enhanced mechanical resistance and surface performance are required.
