Product Introduction
Sodium Alginate (E401, CAS 9005-38-3) is a natural polysaccharide extracted from brown seaweed. It acts as thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier and gelling agent.
It dissolves easily in cold water and forms uniform viscous liquid, capable of forming thermo-irreversible gel with calcium ions.
Widely applied in ice cream, sauces, dairy, baked food, artificial caviar, cosmetics and textile printing.
