1.Primary RO desalination rate: 97–99% (affected by feedwater salinity and membrane condition).
2.Two-stage  RO desalination rate: Up to 99.5–99.8% (due to lower contaminant loading in the primary RO product      water feed).
3.System total desalination rate: ≈ 99.99% (cascade effect of dual stages).

"High desalination rate" is not only the outcome of two-stage RO but also the core objective of system design. Through optimized pretreatment (e.g., softening, scale inhibition), membrane array configuration (inter-stage boosting), and intelligent control systems (pH adjustment, flow balancing), desalination rates can be maintained at stable high levels long-term.
