I. Overview

Ultrapure water equipment is a precision water treatment system that removes impurities from water to trace levels through a multi-stage process involving pretreatment, reverse osmosis, and ultrapurification. The resulting water can have a resistivity exceeding 18 MΩ·cm, also known as soft water. Originating in the US semiconductor industry, this equipment is now widely used in electronics, medicine, and chemical industries, including chip manufacturing, high-precision material cleaning, and laboratory pure water production.

 

II. Process

Raw water → Raw water booster pump → Multi-media filter → Activated carbon filter → Water softener → Precision filter → First-stage reverse osmosis equipment → Intermediate water tank → Intermediate water pump → Ion exchanger → Purified water tank → Pure water pump → Ultraviolet sterilizer → Microporous filter → Water point
 
III:Working Principle
1. Water enters the purification system, with the majority flowing into the resin/membrane, while the remainder flows along the outside of the template, washing away ions that have passed through the membrane.
2. The resin retains dissolved ions in the water.
3. Under the action of the electrodes, the retained ions move toward the positive electrode (anions) and toward the negative electrode (cations).
4. Cations pass through the cation membrane and are discharged from the resin/membrane.
5. Anions pass through the anion membrane and are discharged from the resin/membrane.
6. Concentrated ions are discharged through the wastewater path.
7. Deionized water flows out of the resin/membrane.
