DOWSIL™ 3-1944 HP is a one-part, translucent RTV silicone coating with excellent flowability, fast tack-free time, and flame resistance (UL 94 V-0 rated). Its UV indicator enables automated inspection, and it is solvent-free for environmental friendliness.

Part 2: Product Description

DOWSIL™ 3-1944 HP cures by absorbing ambient moisture, eliminating the need for ovens. It forms a soft, low-stress elastomer ideal for protecting delicate components (e.g., solder joints, pins). The fast cure (7-minute tack-free at 25°C) can be accelerated with mild heat (<60°C) for higher throughput.
