XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid (50-1000 cSt) is a colorless, clear polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) fluid featuring low surface tension (20.8–21.2 dynes/cm), high dielectric strength (400 V/mil), and exceptional thermal stability (flash point >318°C). With viscosities ranging from 50 to 1000 cSt, it is designed for both personal care and industrial applications.
Product Description
This silicone fluid utilizes a linear polydimethylsiloxane polymer structure (Chemical formula: (CH₃)₃SiO[SiO(CH₃)₂]ₙSi(CH₃)₃), exhibiting ultra-low pour points (down to -70°C) and superior flow characteristics. Its low volatility (≤0.3% at 150°C) and high compressibility ensure stable performance, while being fully soluble in solvents (e.g., aromatics/chlorinated solvents) yet hydrophobic in water.
