Araldite® F300 AB is a two-component fast-curing methacrylate reactive adhesive, engineered for efficient bonding of metals and plastics. Its ultra-short pot life (1-2 min) and rapid initial strength development (handling in 2-4 min) make it ideal for continuous manufacturing processes such as loudspeaker production lines. Utilizing Separate Surface Application technology, Components A and B are applied directly to respective substrates without pre-mixing; bonding initiates upon contact, eliminating pot-life constraints of conventional mixed adhesives.
Breakthrough Process Technology: The separate application process allows Component A (containing initiator) and Component B (containing catalyst) to reside independently on two surfaces. Bonding triggers instantaneous interfacial reaction upon contact, liberating production line rhythm from pot-life limitations and significantly boosting efficiency for large-part assembly.
Exceptional Performance: Cured bonds deliver outstanding shock resistance, peel resistance, and moisture resistance. Compatible with residual rolling oils on metal substrates (e.g., aluminum, steel); surface preparation requires only simple solvent wiping (alcohol for plastics, ethyl acetate for metals).
Critical Note: Hardener (6%) MUST be added to Component B and mixed homogeneously. NEVER mix hardener into Component A! Pre-mixed Component B has ~1 week shelf life.
