Product Introductio
Molykote® 316 forms an oxidation-resistant silicone film that prevents carbonaceous residues or gummy surfaces. With low volatility at temperatures up to 199°C (390°F), it requires application to clean surfaces as a thin film for optimal release performance.
Enhanced Properties
- FDA 21 CFR 175.300 compliance (subject to extractives limits);
- High-temperature resistance (199°C);
- Insoluble in water/ethanol/glycerin, dispersible in naphtha;
- 60-month shelf life (≤35°C). Not applicable to surfaces intended for painting.
