Basic Properties
3M DP420 is a two-part epoxy adhesive available in Black, NS Black, Off-White, and LH variants. It features a 2:1 mix ratio, 15-30 min worklife at 23°C, and is engineered for ultra-high-strength bonding of metals and composites, with UL 94 HB flammability rating (Off-White).
Product Description
DP420 delivers 4500 psi shear strength on etched aluminum and retains 570 psi at 121°C. The LH variant complies with IEC 61249-2-21 (<1500 ppm halogens) for electronics. Resists water, oils, and solvents with >85% strength retention after 30-day immersion.
