Product Properties
Molykote 3402C-LF is an air-curing dry-film lubricant composed of solid lubricants, organic binders, and organic solvents. It offers excellent lubricity, corrosion protection, high pressure, and wear resistance, with a service temperature range of -200°C to 310°C.

Product Introduction
The product is applied by spraying, dipping, centrifuging, or brushing with a recommended dry-film thickness of 5–20μm. Surfaces must be cleaned and degreased prior to application, and blasting or phosphating pretreatments enhance adhesion and service life. Coverage is approximately 12m²/kg at 10μm thickness (excluding application losses), using MOLYKOTE L13 Thinner.
Enhanced Properties
- Falex Test: Load-carrying capacity of 8,900–12,200N on phosphated surfaces (ASTM D2625);
- Wear Life: 74,800 revolutions in rotating mode (ASTM D2714);
- Corrosion Resistance: 120 hours to red rust on Zn-phosphated substrates (ASTM B117).
Curing requires 5 minutes to touch-dry and 120 minutes to full cure at 20°C.
