Chemlok 205 is a gray, heat-activated liquid material that functions as both a primer and a one-coat adhesive. It is composed of a mixture of polymers, organic compounds and mineral fillers dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent system.
Product Introduction
This versatile product is designed primarily for bonding unvulcanized nitrile (NBR) and polyacrylate (ACM) elastomers to rigid substrates during the vulcanization process. It offers the convenience of being applicable as a standalone adhesive for certain NBR compounds or as a primer beneath various Chemlok covercoat adhesives.
Its formulation allows for easy application via brushing, dipping, spraying, or roll coating, making it suitable for existing production lines.

Proper drying is crucial, achievable in 30-45 minutes at room temperature or faster with forced air circulation at 65-93°C (150-200°F).
