DUROPTIX OE-6351 Optically Clear Two-Part Silicone LED Encapsulant for LED Package & Lens Molding

DUROPTIX OE-6351 is a two-part, 1:1 mix ratio, addition-cure optically transparent silicone encapsulant with low viscosity, self-priming adhesion and 24-hour pot life at 25°C, cured to Shore A 52 (JIS).

Designed for the demanding LED market, DUROPTIX OE-6351 offers high purity, moisture resistance, thermal stability and >98% optical transparency at 450 nm. The silicone absorbs thermally induced stresses inside LED packages, protecting the die and bond wires, and withstands lead-free reflow temperatures, making it suitable for modern LED assembly processes.

  • Wide Service Temp:​ Operational from –45°C to 200°C long term; thermal cycling down to –55°C can be evaluated per application.

DUROPTIX® OE-6351 is used for encapsulation and lens molding of SMD LEDs, high-power LED packages, COB (Chip-on-Board) modules, and automotive / general lighting LED units requiring long-term heat & UV resistance and non-tacky high-hardness finish. It is also suitable for optical component potting where high clarity and stress relief are needed.
