Product Description
The 3300 XL 50 mm Transducer System consists of a separate 50 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor. The large diameter coil provides a maximum linear range of 27.9 mm (1100 mils), the longest linear range in our eddy current transducer line. This extended range makes the system ideal for measuring differential expansion (DE) or rotor expansion (RX) in large steam turbine generators, where it tracks the growth rate differences between turbine rotors and machine stators (casings).
