Product Description
The 3500 System rack is designed to mount all 3500 monitor modules and power supplies. This rack enables placement of 3500 modules in close proximity for efficient communication and provides mounting for power supplies to distribute power to each module.
Available Rack Sizes
- Full-size rack: 19-inch EIA rack with 14 available module slots
- Mini-rack: 12-inch rack with seven available module slots
Mounting Options
- Panel mount: Mounts to rectangular cutouts in panels using supplied clamps. Wiring connections and I/O modules are accessible from the rear.
- Rack mount: Mounts on 19-inch EIA rails with rear access to wiring connections and I/O modules.
- Bulkhead mount: Mounts against a wall or panel when rear access isn't possible. Wiring connections and I/O modules are accessible from the front (not available for Mini-Rack).
The power supplies and rack interface module must occupy the far-left rack positions. The remaining positions (14 for full-size, 7 for mini-rack) are available for any combination of modules.
