Product Overview
The MTL surge protection MA05/D/2 combines filtering, surge and ring suppression for comprehensive protection against electrical disturbances on AC power cabling.
- High-quality filtering with ring suppression technology
- Available in three mounting configurations: Wall/floor (I), DIN-rail (D), or standard filter case (SC)
- Includes thermal fuse protection for added safety
- Exceeds IEC61000-4-5, level 4 compliance for EMC performance
The MA05 range protects electronic equipment and computer networks against industrial noise and surges caused by lightning, switching devices, thyristor controls, transmission system overloads, and power-factor correction circuits.
Available in multiple configurations: 'SC' models feature safety-shrouded spade terminations in standard filter cans; 'I' units for wall/floor mounting in plastic enclosures with screw terminals; and 'D' models for DIN-rail mounting in control panels.
