The Martindale Abrasion Testing Machine is designed to determine the abrasion resistance of various footwear vamp materials. Samples are tested against known abrasives at controlled pressures with continuously changing directions to measure wear resistance. The innovative design allows for individual sample holder examination without removing the top motion plate.
