The UP-4001 Digital Leather Lastometer Cracking Tester evaluates surface crack resistance and fracture resistance of leather (especially shoe upper leather) under tensile stress. This instrument simulates the "shoe last stretching" process in shoe-making technology.
- Clamp: Fix a circular leather sample with a clamp ring
- Top Extension: A standard diameter steel ball is lifted upwards from the inner surface of the leather at a constant speed
- Judgment: Record height and force value when first crack appears (Grain Crack) and final peak strength when leather is completely broken (Burst point)
Primarily used for leather performance testing in footwear, clothing, and luggage industries. Also suitable for testing synthetic materials such as coated fabrics to evaluate durability under biaxial tension.
