Xenon Lamp Weathering Test Chamber
Climatic conditions exert a significant impact on the aging of organic substances, pigment fading and metal corrosion. Hence, aging tests have gained increasing attention in industries such as rubber, plastics, paints, petrochemicals, automobiles and textiles. There are numerous climatic environmental factors, including solar radiation, temperature, humidity, rainfall, condensation, harmful gases and dust. Evaluating material properties merely through tests based on a single environmental factor is far from comprehensive. It is usually necessary to conduct combined tests involving multiple factors to simulate natural conditions as closely as possible so as to achieve relatively accurate evaluation results. Although outdoor exposure tests feature high authenticity, climatic conditions vary greatly across different regions and seasons, which leads to poor test reproducibility. Meanwhile, with the continuous improvement in the quality of sample materials, the cycle of exposure tests has become increasingly longer, failing to meet the evolving demands of scientific research and production development.

WHY CHOOSE US?
Functional Features:
|
This device is applicable to accelerated aging tests via light and water exposure to predict the relative durability of non-metallic materials such as paints, coatings and plastics. It is especially suitable for observing the physical property deterioration of highly durable materials, including gloss reduction, haze formation, strength decline, chalking, cracking, blistering, embrittlement and discoloration.
