60g Glassine Paper High Density Double Sided Gloss for Tape Release Liner
Optimized for pressure-sensitive tape manufacturing, 60 g/㎡ glassine paper offers density ≥1.10 g/cm³ and smoothness ≥1000s on both sides. It serves as a reliable release liner for masking tape, double-sided tape, and foam tape. The oil absorption remains ≤1.1 g/m², preventing silicone migration. Excellent dimensional stability prevents curling during slitting and coating.

Process Introduction
60g glassine is produced on a supercalender with 12 alternating rolls at higher pressure (450-500 kN/m) to achieve density ≥1.10 g/cm³. The pulp mix uses a higher proportion of long-fiber softwood (up to 80%). Surface sizing with PVA creates a continuous film, reducing porosity. The finished paper resists oil penetration (Kit 12 grade equivalent) and maintains flatness under varying humidity.
Uses & Distinguishing Features
Tape Release Liner – For masking tape, electrical tape, and packaging tape; consistent unwind tension.
Foam Tape Carrier – Dense surface prevents silicone bleed-through; clean release.
Medical Tape Liner – For surgical tapes and bandages; skin-safe, no residue.
Gasket Die-Cutting – Precision cut without fiber tearing; supports automated pick-and-place.
Why Choose This Paper
60g offers the ideal density and strength for tape applications where consistent release and dimensional stability are critical.
