PE Extrusion Laminated Greaseproof Paper 50g Absolute Barrier for Frozen Food
This 50 g/m² PE (polyethylene) extrusion‑laminated greaseproof paper offers an absolute barrier against oil, water, and moisture. The PE layer (15‑20 g/m²) makes it suitable for frozen food packaging, long‑term storage of oily products, and industrial liners. It is heat‑sealable, providing strong closures for bags and pouches. Note: Not biodegradable, but recyclable in specialized streams.

Base greaseproof paper (beating degree 75°SR) is unwound and passed through an extrusion coater. Molten LDPE (low‑density polyethylene) at 280‑320°C is extruded onto the paper via a slot die, then pressed against a chill roll to solidify. The coating can be applied to one or both sides. The laminated paper is then slit and rewound. No solvent use.
- Frozen Food Bags – For frozen french fries, chicken nuggets; resists oil and ice crystals.
- Butter & Margarine Wrappers – Long‑term storage without oil leakage.
- Heat‑Sealable Pouches – For dry snacks, nuts, and confectionery.
- Industrial Liners – For oily parts and chemical containers.
PE lamination provides absolute barrier and heat‑sealability, ideal for long‑shelf‑life products and frozen goods.
