This 60 g/m² cellophane (model RCM‑MK‑600) is the thickest standard grade, with a thickness of 40 μm. It is engineered for heavy‑duty packaging applications: large‑size vertical form‑fill‑seal bags for grains, pet food, and snacks; reusable tote bags; and protective covers. The film provides excellent water vapor barrier (WVTR 18 g/m²·24h) and oil resistance, while remaining fully compostable.

Produced via NMMO solvent process to ensure high strength and low defects. The cellulose solution is extruded with a wider die gap and stretched less to achieve greater thickness. After coagulation, the film undergoes multi‑stage washing, drying at 80‑100°C, and rewinding. The thick gauge provides improved puncture resistance and stiffness, suitable for automated bag makers.
