This 60 g/m² natural brown striped kraft paper (QB/T 1706‑2006) features a smooth glossy front and distinctive 2mm vertical stripes on the reverse, formed during papermaking without secondary embossing. Made from 100% unbleached softwood sulfate pulp with long fibers, it offers excellent flexibility and tear resistance. Ideal for flower wrapping, lightweight shopping bags, and origami crafts.

Technical Specifications (QB/T 1706‑2006)

Process Introduction

100% unbleached softwood sulfate pulp is free‑beaten to 25‑35°SR to retain long fibers. The stock (0.6‑1.0% consistency) flows onto a cylinder machine equipped with a striped forming wire (2mm ridge spacing). After wire section pre‑forming, the wet web passes through press rolls with striped felt and engraved rollers at 5‑8 bar pressure, creating clear vertical stripes on the reverse side. A single‑cylinder Yankee dryer (105‑115°C) contacts the front side for polished gloss while the striped side dries naturally. Finished moisture is controlled at 8‑12%. The paper is then soft calendered and slit.
