Our split bimetallic bushing is a wrapped composite bearing, manufactured by sintering copper alloy powder onto low carbon steel substrate. The steel backing provides high mechanical strength to withstand heavy loads, while the porous bronze surface stores lubricant to reduce friction and wear.

The special wavy split seam design allows the bushing to be compressed during installation, achieving tight interference fit inside housing bore. Compared with solid bronze sleeve, this bimetal structure saves bronze material and brings better cost performance without sacrificing load capacity.
