Overview
Fabric wrapped bushing (also known as cloth wrapped shaft sleeve) is a high-performance composite plain bearing, manufactured by winding and curing high-strength fiberglass fabric impregnated with special resin. The dense woven fabric structure delivers excellent wear resistance, high compressive strength, low friction coefficient and good dimensional stability. This bushing works well under dry or marginally lubricated conditions, ideal for heavy load, low speed reciprocating, oscillating and rotary motion scenarios.
Unlike metal sliding bearings, fabric wrapped bushing features vibration damping, corrosion resistance and no seizure risk. It is widely used in construction machinery, hydraulic cylinders, injection molding machines, automation equipment, mining machinery and agricultural machinery. Custom ID, OD and length dimensions are available to match your drawing requirements.
