Food Industry Applications
  • Margarine: Imparts fine and stable water dispersion. Dosage: 1% of oils and fats
  • Shortening: Adjusts oil crystal formation. Dosage: 1% of oils and fats
  • Ice Cream: Improves shape retention and provides foam stabilization. Dosage: 0.3-0.5%
  • Coffee Creamer: Creates uniform fat globule distribution for improved whitening and stabilization. Dosage: 2-3.5% of oils and fats
  • Protein Beverages: Stabilizes protein, oils and fats; prevents delamination and sedimentation; provides smooth mouth feel. Dosage: 0.5-1%
  • Dairy Products: Promotes fat dispersion and prevents delamination. Dosage: 0.1% (typically used with Span 60)
  • Chewing Gum: Softens gum base, facilitates mixture, improves mastication and texture. Dosage: 0.3-1% of gum base
Cosmetic Applications
